How much yoga/pilates experience do I need?

Anyone from the complete newbie to the experienced yoga/pilates teacher can benefit from this class.

This looks pretty advanced.
Are you sure I’ll be able to do it?

Classes are small with lots of individual attention, and you will never be made to do something you're not comfortable with. Keep in mind that as you build confidence with the practice you may find yourself in positions you didn’t expect!

What if I'm scared?

Don't worry...that's completely normal! The sling was designed to hold up to 1,000 lbs, so rest assured it is more than strong enough to hold your weight! The format of the class is designed to build confidence by easing new students slowly into the practice. Your feet will not leave the ground until you are ready, but that may happen sooner than you think.

Will I get a workout doing this?

Absolutely. Practicing on the sling builds long, lean muscle mass because you are working with your own body weight. It builds deep core strength as well as flexibility, and teaches your entire body to work as a cohesive unit.

How should I prepare for class?

Try not to eat anything heavy up to 2 hours before practicing. Wear comfortable workout or yoga/pilates clothes that cover your armpits and knees, remove any bulky jewelry that could get caught. Show up with an open mind and be ready for some fun.
